What kind of data do we store?

We store only statistical data such as gender, age & emotions. This data is statistical in nature and cannot be linked to any of our viewers. Our AI does not track or store any pictorial or video graphical data of the viewers.

Our AI works step by step:
When a viewer is standing in front of a campaign or a display our AI detects a viewer, determines their emotions from facial expressions, detects their gender (gender estimation) and determines their age afterwards it stores the afore mentioned in the form of numbers for statistical and reporting purposes for our campaigners.

Our AI does NOT do the following:

Collect and save images.
Collect and save videos.
Save facial Data.
Save facial patterns for identification.

Does Nordvertise use facial detection or facial recognition?

Nordvertise uses interval based facial cues to detect human faces, in order to predict the age, gender, emotional expressions of the viewer looking at the screen. Thus, it can be said that Nordvertise uses only facial detection and not facial recognition.

Nordvertise does not track or identify anyone, nor does it record or store facial images.

Facial detection vs Facial recognition

The term facial detection is different from facial recognition, in that facial detection refers to the analyzing or detecting of patterns and emotions, whereas facial recognition technology (FRT) stores data in order to recognize or identify an individual against existing content.

Nordvertise does not employ facial recognition.
